Conclusions. In this section, we'll wrap everything up, summarise what we've learned and done in this OER, and think about what we might do next.

What's happened so far.
Well done for making it to the final section of this OER! Let's review what we've done so far:
- Learned a little about how blockchain works, and considered some examples of how it might be used in higher education, especially around the verification of credentials
- Started to consider how we can develop a critical sensibility when it comes to appraising blockchain and blockchain projects.
- Tested out this critical sensibility on the How to Adult project, and assessed its success or failure.
Now, though, it's time to appraise the overall approach taken here - the position of purposeful pessimism openly adopted throughout. Spend a few moments reflecting upon the following questions:

So what's next?
Now we've reached the end of the OER, there are a few things you might wish to do to consolidate your knowledge further. On the next page, linked to below, there is a list of resources - this includes all of those we've read or that have been mentioned throughout the OER, and some additional readings and videos that you might wish to explore.
However, before we finish, think about the questions asked at the very beginning of this resource:
However, before we finish, think about the questions asked at the very beginning of this resource:
- What does it mean to be critical about something that doesn't really exist yet? Is it a challenge, or an opportunity?
- How might it affect this resource if its subject is still speculative and evolving quickly?
- How will you know if the materials in this resource are still relevant?
- And what, if anything, can be inferred from the source of those materials?
Congratulations - you made it! Click below to see some further resources you may wish to consult.
